Sephardic Shul Heichal and furniture arrives from Israel
Recently, Chabad House at Rutgers University received the first container if custom-made furniture for its New Sephardic Shul to be dedicated in the coming weeks.
The Sephardic Shul dedicated by the Ashkenazi - Franco Families will be the first-ever Sephardic Shul on any public university campus in the USA.
The furniture delivered is modeled after the Sephardic Shul traditions in Alleppo, Syria and will accommodate up to 200 Sephardic students at Rutgers from the Deal and Brooklyn areas.
